Hanover Book Festival-2009

Description: The Hanover Book Festival was begun in 2006 by The Hanover Writers Club to help promote reading. While attempting to sell their books, too often authors would hear the discouraging words, "I don't read." In this age of television, movie and computer screens, the written page is becoming an anachronism in many people's lives. To encourage and promote reading as an enjoyable experience, the Hanover Book Festival was born.

Our Mission Statement: It is Our Mission to raise community awareness of reading, promote reading, and educate about the processes related to writing books, and to encourage and support Virginia's authors.
