On his morning show on XTRA 99.1 FM, on the 2nd Monday of every month at about 8:05 a.m., Talk Radio Host Neal Steele will interview one Author booked to appear by CBW.

Once on the schedule for a particular month, the Author is responsible for providing Neal Steele with advance Information specified in the Guidelines. Read them before the month of the scheduled interview.

CBW Members have priority for upcoming shows, but now published VWC members statewide, Past Speakers at CBW meetings, and non-member Authors living within CBW's Service area are also eligible. Generally, Authors should book their interview three months in advance of the broadcast, but CBW members are encouraged strongly to reserve dates more than three months ahead to ensure that they have priority for available dates.

So all you published authors, check the available dates that work for you (second monday each month) and contact Dave Carr by phone at (804) 725-9843 to get on the schedule.

While Face-to-Face Interviews at the Gloucester radio station are highly recommended as they tend to go better, particularly for authors without previous experience with remote interviews, there is a new option for remote interviews by phone. However, this option is available only for those authors who live at a distance from Gloucester of greater than one hour commuting time, or who have special circumstances that preclude being at the station (unable to get off work or physically impaired). Authors wishing to exercise the "Remote Interview by phone" option need to arrange it when they book the interview.
