Originally from Oak Ridge Tennessee, CW5 (R) Anthony J. Rinderer draws inspiration from a stack of leather-bound, coffee-stained journals that span over 40 years, 75 countries, and multiple tours of duty in virtually every armed conflict that our nation has embraced since 1993. Their pages reflect both humorous tales of collective misfortune and deep, soulful reflections on war, friendship, tragedy, and loss. A U.S. Army Special Operations Attack Helicopter Pilot by trade, Anthony is now retired and serves as a Private Military Contractor (PMC), instructor pilot, firearms instructor, technical writer, and defense consultant. He lives on a small farm in Gloucester, Virginia and writes because it's way cheaper than therapy.
