I started writing the story of my Chinese grandfather and German-Welsh grandmother over thirty years ago. I now want to finish it and hope my affiliation with the Chesapeake Bay Writers will help guide me across the victory line. I have never published a book.

My grandparents' story is a story of America. The framework of their story embodies family history, travel, land runs, paper sons, an earthquake, missionaries, travel, love, success, loss, and hope.
