Hubbard
Author Bio
Jeanne Darby Hubbard writes book club fiction that explores the quiet power of connection—how we shape each other, show up for each other, and become who we are over time. With a doctorate in education and a background in teaching interpersonal communication and argument, as well as a lifetime of work managing transformational projects where customers and development teams need to converge, she brings a deep understanding of human relationships to her storytelling.
Her work is rooted in a lifelong love of civic engagement, community dinners, and conversations that start with a question and end with a deeper understanding. She currently serves on her city council, several boards, and sings with the Virginia Choral Society. She believes the best stories are the ones told after dessert, when no one’s in a hurry to leave.

My first manuscript is upmarket fiction with a community focus titled THE GUARDIAN OF EVERMERE. You want Willa on your team; her ideas are big and brilliant, but sometimes a gamble. This hopeful Parks and Rec leader believes her hometown is worth fighting for. Good thing her friends agree. So buckle up.
I'm dipping my toes in the querying world.
