Adam Clayton has spent almost two decades learning the craft of writing. After earning a Masters’ Degree in Communications Arts, he spent a number of years writing for television, advertising, and marketing programs. This led to stepping out on his own to pursue his first love—fiction writing. Progressing through eight novels, he worked with a variety of editors. At each stage, he learned how to create a compelling story arc and fill it with believable characters. Ultimately, he enrolled in a year-long, one-on-one tutorial with a London editorial agency. Through this program, he was able to perfect the critical skills of world-building, point-of-view, conflict (internal and external), sensory expression, and conquering show vs. tell.
