I'm a founding member of Chesapeake Bay Writers Club and recall the contest we had to name the group. The winner of that contest went on to start the Police Writers Association that continues to have conferences each year in Las Vegas, NV. We used to have a Writers Conference each year at Rappahannock Community College at Glenns, planned by our founder, Jane Deringer.
